I graduated from Jagjivan college in 1979. Though our college was more known for ruffians of GERE & RASULPUR, there was one Prof. Shaukat Ali of Pol Science, whom I still remember for his honesty, discipline & his untiring resolve to maintain a high degree of academic standard. He was also in charge of NCC. I take this opportunity to express my thanx & gratitude to him for his role in that adverse situation, which has a lasting influence on me & also helped polish my personality. Well the Temple draws immense public gathering; and it's a temple for everyone. It is about 200 years ago and recently the temple Administrative Committe ; with noted social activist Dr. L N Singh alias Tun Tun Babu as its President has supervised and undertaken the work of temple renovation.
